Demonstration taking place at the Wurukum Roundabout.

A group of protesters stormed the state capital of Benue state this morning the 22nd of December 2023 putting on red shirts carrying placards 🪧 and a coffin, chanting that the government of Benue state under the governorship of Governor H Alia has not been carrying the Apc political party caucus along in his administration!!! The protesters blocked the four roads leading to the popular food basket round about in wurukum, Makurdi the Benue state capital for an hour causing chaos and traffic jams before the intervention of the police and the Road Safety!!! Rumors has it that the protesters were heading to the government house gate of the state as the police intervened leading to dispersed movement!!! rephrase
